Following my lifelong dream, I founded Ellen Friedman Interiors in 1990. Since then I have created unique interiors that are recognized for their unusual artistic flair. When your business is an extension of something you love to do, it brings joy to everyone who experiences it, and it is truly fulfilling. My varied retail experience in bath and kitchen design, all aspects of the flooring industry, and window treatmentshave given me a rich background to draw upon. I have designed interiors from the North Shore to the South Shore of Long Island, Sutton Place in Manhattan, Aventura, Florida, and Saratoga Springs, New York. I take particular pride in being sensitive to the specific requirements of each client, incorporating timeless style and current trends. I create and implement interiors that truly reflect the different tastes of each individual client. With meticulous attention to detail, all varieties of woods in various finishes and different materials are used to create unusual one of a kind effects. In my travels to the High Point Furniture Market, the New York Gift Show, and many other fine craft shows I find the best and newest sources of fabulous furnishings and accessories. When I can't find the perfect piece in the design market, I custom design it, have it built, and in some cases have finished it myself. From one window to one room or an entire house, when my work is completed, an environment is created that is not only beautiful to look at, but practical and functional as well.
